A vigorous climber topped with rich deep blue, semi‑double flowers that may carry on flowering from May–June and then again through late summer into early autumn.

It’s classed in Pruning Group 2 so remove weak or dead stems in late winter/early spring and again after the first flush to promote repeat blooms. Its compact habit (often around 2.5 m tall) makes it ideal for smaller spaces, walls or containers.
