A charming and reliable classic with large shell‑pink to lilac flowers and contrasting red‑purple anthers, creating a soft romantic effect in the summer garden. It typically blooms from mid summer through early autumn (June–September) on new season’s growth.

This variety falls into Pruning Group 3, so it’s best to cut back hard in late winter/early spring (to about 20‑30 cm/8‑12″ above ground) to encourage strong fresh shoots and abundant late‑season flowers. A compact climber (about 1.5–2.5 m) that performs well in partial shade and is ideal for trellis, obelisks, pergolas, walls or containers.
